TEU | Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit. |
BAF | Bunker Adjustment Factor Oil surcharge that covers the increasing fuel prices. BAF is based on the shipping lines’ fuel prices |
CAF | Currency Adjustment Factor Currency fee to cover the devaluation of the currency representing the main part of the freight. The fee is determined by the shipping lines and is a percentage of the main freight |
PSS | Peak Season Surcharge Surcharge paid per container from August to November for container fra Asia to Europe. |
Heavy Surcharge | Surcharge put on especially heavy 20’ container from the Far East. The surcharge varies from habour to habour |
Low Sulphur Surcharge | Sulphur surcharge on all vessels crossing The Baltic Sea, Kattegat, Skagerrak, The North Sea and The English Channel |
ISPS | International Ship and Port Sercurity |
